Operation Backpack is City Light Church's 7th annual back-to-school support program for those in and around our community. Each year, we bring peace and hope to more and more families as they head into the chaos of the back-to-school season.
How does it work?
Low-income households, those facing job loss or navigating health crisis, single parents, and new immigrant families can register for our program online. Just tell us how many kids you have and what school they are going to, then we will do all the back-to-school shopping for you! We strive to provide everything your child will need so they can head into class confidently this fall.
Please note that no clothing or shoes are provided through this program.
A confident, well-prepare child makes for a great learner who is set up for success.
Please note that in order to be accepted into our program, you cannot be registered to receive back-to-school assistance thorugh another city organization.
Are you a community member or business partner that wants to make a difference? We are looking for donations to help run this program. Consider making a tax-receiptable donation or contributing the following supplies to our program:
