This Christmas season, we’re running 3 major giving projects in our church! Our heart is to help those in need and we’ve partnered with some awesome ministries to bring some holiday cheer around the globe.

Superkids is an amazing ministry run by Pastors Ding & Mona from the New Hope to Asia church in the Philippines. Superkids is their annual Christmas party for street kid sin Cainta, Rizal in the Philippines. Children anywhere from 3-12 years old get invited to join Ding & Mona for special celebratory meals and gifts. After the Christmas party, children are invited to continue visiting the church every Saturday morning for a hot nutritious meal and fun  bible lesson. To date, Ding & Mona have seen hundreds of children come through this program and experience true salvation and freedom from addictions or derelict lifestyles. Many of these children have also been through college and are now working. As the sole supporters of their Superkids Christmas party, we ask you to join in with us to raise funds to cover the expenses for their special Christmas meal and gifts. As you likely know, this is an amazing global ministry that supports children in third world countries with the joy of a personalized Christmas gift and a message of hope. How does it work? You pick up an Operation Christmas Child shoebox from our church and fill it with some age-appropriate toys and hygiene supplies. From there, you complete the necessary paperwork and pack your box tight. Bring it back to our church by Sunday, November 17th so we can pray over the boxes and ship them off to their destination. This ministry has been changing kids’ lives for over 50 years, doing wonderful things for communities lacking in essential supplies and church systems. By taking the time to shop and pray for a child you don’t even know, you are inspiring a whole community of believers. Join us as we aim to fill over 100 boxes this year!

This is CLC’s local outreach project for the Christmas season. Each year, we distribute turkey dinner packs to families who could otherwise not afford to have a gathering with their loved ones during this special time of year. Each pack contains a turkey, potatoes, stuffing, veggies, and all the fixings! We rely mostly on the donations of our church body to be able to provide for our community in this way, so we encourage you to get involved! Clipboards for food donation sign up will be available during our church services starting on November 10! You can also give financially to help offset the costs of the turkeys we purchase.
