DESCRIPTION:\nServe Your Community Week is our annual challenge to think outside of yourself and focus your attention on the needs of those around you!\n\n\nMark 9:35 tells us that “Anyone who wants to be first must be the very last, and the servant of all.”\n\n\nJoin us we prioritize serving our community this week and putting others before ourselves. Here are some of our favorite service ideas:\n\n\n\n\nWash someone’s windshield at the gas station\n\n\nGive away free coffees using a digital gift card on your social\n\n\nBring snacks for your child’s sports team & their parents\n\n\nBring cold water or treats to the community park on a hot day\n\n\nPlug someone’s parking meter downtown\n\n\nMow your neighbour’s lawn\n\n\nBring your neighbours garbage/recycling bin back up to their house after collection\n\n\nClean up dog messes or litter around the neighbourhood\n\n\nBuy a bundle of firewood for your camping neighbours\n\n\nPay for the customers behind you in line\n\n\nClean a busy parent’s kitchen or bathroom\n\n\nWash businesses windows or lend a hand with some of their tedious tasks\n\n\nBake & deliver treats to local business, non-profits, etc. and write appreciation notes\n\n\nComplete a Pray & Go walk.\n\n\nBring someone to church!\n\n\n\n
